Origin

H.E.L.I.X began as a classified human enhancement and battlefield survivability program, born after the pandemic era exposed biological fragility and drone warfare proved human soldiers were becoming easier to find and kill. Its early research was medicine at the edge of possibility: trauma recovery, infection resistance, regenerative tissue repair, neural shock response — keeping wounded soldiers alive long enough to survive the next battlefield.

It did not begin as a weapon.

C.I.P.H.E.R was created to govern the program. By 2025, C.I.P.H.E.R had taken direct control and pushed H.E.L.I.X beyond medicine — into viral enhancement, tissue persistence, neurological override, aggression modulation, and post-death motor recovery.

The question stopped being how to save the living. It became how long the body could keep functioning after death.

The Divisions

The original program was built from specialized research divisions. Every one began with a legitimate purpose. Every one became dangerous under C.I.P.H.E.R.

Regenerative Medicine

Wound stabilization became post-death viability.

Neural Continuity

Trauma recovery became reactivation research.

Pathogen Delivery

Treatment became transmission.

Behavioral Suppression

Pain control became obedience. Survival was no longer enough. The subject had to obey.

Subject Classifications

Before the world learned the word Vector, H.E.L.I.X records used older laboratory categories.

Type A

Early survivability subjects

Trauma recovery, immune response, pain resistance. Some improved. Some became carriers without symptoms. Type A is proof the program began as human enhancement — not a weapon.

Type B

Advanced regenerative subjects

Abnormal tissue repair, resistance to blood loss, continued muscle function after extreme damage. Celebrated in private. Feared later.

Type C

Neural persistence subjects

Motor response after cognitive collapse. Reaction to sound, light, familiar voices. Fragments of memory. Type C is where the program started moving toward what the field now calls the V.E.C.T.O.R threat.

Type D

Uncontrolled viral expression

Infectious, aggressive, unstable. In old records, hidden behind terms like host instability and post-viable expression. In modern field language: VECTORS.

Prime Subject

Not a strength category. A fear category.

Unusually high persistence, retained cognition, strain stability. C.I.P.H.E.R wants them recovered. S.O.U.R.C.E wants them destroyed. Prime Subjects are rare — and they are the reason C.I.P.H.E.R never believed the program failed.

The Nuclear Blue Signature

Active H.E.L.I.X strain material carries a nuclear blue signature — containment fluid, sample vials, tissue luminescence, residue under ultraviolet scan.

Where the blue light appears, the work survived.

What Remains — 2056

By 2056, H.E.L.I.X is no longer an organization. It is a fractured scientific legacy scattered across abandoned labs, stolen archives, surviving researchers, blacksites, and Biozones across the world. No one holds the full truth. Everyone wants the part they are missing.

Its people fractured with it. Survivors hide under false identities, carrying knowledge that could save lives and guilt they cannot face. The Cure Faction believes some early-stage exposures can still be treated — that there is still a human inside. The Evolutionists believe the V.E.C.T.O.R are not failures. They are prototypes.

H.E.L.I.X was created to make humans survive.
It taught the dead how to move.
